Mostly I'm a self taught artist and a Registered Nurse since 1981. In 2013 I went back to school and earned a Masters in Art Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I retired from nursing in 2020 and now live as a full time artist. I teach art to all ages and consider art as a means to stay healthy and balanced.

Art participation in high school art classes, art community classes and college courses in art, as well as, attended art workshops and involved in several art groups and participating in shows from student level to professional over my lifetime. Art has been a stress reliever and helped me balance work and personal life. You could say art has been the thread woven through my life holding me together.
